Floor To Stand

  • HOW: Begin by lying on your back with one knee bent and your foot flat on the ground. Raise the arm straight up on the side that the knee is bent. Rotate your body to the opposite side placing your arm and knee on the ground. From, there you can push yourself up to have your hands and knees on the ground. Then, bring one knee up in a half kneeling position. Use a chair or step to pull yourself up into a standing position. 
 
  • FEEL: You should feel your whole body working together to position yourself to stand up, safely.
