Side Step – Knees Straight, Band

  • HOW: Begin in a standing position with a band looped around your ankles. Step out slightly and create some tension in the band. Keep your knees straight and also keep that tension as you side step one way following with the other leg. 
 
  • FEEL: You should feel the muscles in your hips and lower legs working. 
 
  • COMPENSATION: Don’t step too far creating your body to side bend. Keep tension at all times when following with the other foot.
