Prone Quadriceps Stretch With Assistance

This stretch is designed to stretch your quadriceps muscles on the front of your thigh. It is important to stretch this muscle to help regain hip extension and knee flexion range of motion. - Position yourself laying flat on your stomach supported on a table or on your bed - Place a belt, towel, or stretch strap around your ankle and bend your affected knee as far as you can as tolerated. You should feel a stretch in front of your thigh. - Be sure to keep your abs tight and to not let your low back arch, if you feel this stretch in your back try to reposition yourself or bend your knee less so that you only feel a stretch in the front of your thigh.
