Supine Table Top Oblique Activation

  • HOW: Start by lying on your back. Bend your knees and bring them up towards your chest straight up from your hips. Have your lower legs pointing straight out creating an โ€œLโ€ in your legs. Place one hand on top of the opposite knee. Push down into the knee and up into your hand creating a contraction in your oblique side muscles. Hold that for as long as prescribed and repeat on both sides.ย ย 
  • FEEL: You should feel your side core muscles working.ย 
  • COMPENSATION: Maintain the table top position while you contract your core, donโ€™t let your legs come down.
