This stretch is designed to stretch your quadriceps and hip flexor muscles on the front of your thigh and hip. It is important to stretch this muscle to help regain hip extension and knee flexion range of motion.
Position yourself laying flat on your back supported on a table or on your bed towards the edge with your affected side being closest to the edge
Bend your unaffected knee as far as you can, or bring the knee to your chest to ensure your low back stays flat on the surface
Let your affected leg hang off the table and bend the knee as far as you can until you feel a stretch in the front of your thigh and hip
