Overhead Mobility Assessment

This assessment will be looking at your true overhead mobility. You will start by laying on the floor with your knees bent, and feet on the floor in a hooklying position. From here, lift your arms, reaching over your head as far as you can go while keeping the lower back flat on the floor. Take note of how far you were able to comfortably reach before compensation occurred. If you are unable to perform this on the floor you can perform it against a wall in a mini- squat position. Same rules would follow, flatten your back and reach up overhead as far as you can while maintaining your back against the wall.   Prehab Goals & Normative Values: Your fingertips should be able to comfortably touch the floor or wall behind you. Take the assessment, write down your score, and track your progress throughout the program.
