Knee Hug – Walking, Heel Raise

  • HOW: As you take a step forward, bring one knee up to your chest and grab it with both hands. Keep your chest up and stand straight as you pull your knee towards your chest. As you pull the knee to your chest, go up on your tip toes on your other side, while keeping that leg straight. Alternate legs as you walk forward.

  • FEEL: Should feel a stretch in your hips and the knee you pull up. You will feel yourself using the muscles of the straight leg in the back of the calf and in the front of the thigh.

  • COMPENSATION: Don’t slouch forward as you bring your knee up. Keep your chest back and torso upright.
