Here is an easy way to assess and address your ankle mobility. Having sufficient ankle mobility is one of the most important factors when it comes to moving well. Our foot is the first thing that comes into contact with the ground when we walk! If our ankle mobility is restricted, it can produce consequences up the kinetic chain!
Be sure to take your shoes off and use the same method when assessing (I like five fingers) and compare to the other side! If limited on one side, follow up with the mobility drill I show in the second part of the video. More importantly, reassess after!
Check out our other ankle mobility drills to follow up with this exercise to help maintain your new mobility!
