For this assessment, you will need a box, bench or something sturdy to stand on. You will start by standing on this object and then “dropping” or stepping off. Once landing on the floor you will then perform a max vertical jump and then land again on the floor. The goal of this assessment for our purposes is not necessarily how high you jump, but rather that your landings are of high quality showing that your movement system is able to absorb these forces.
Prehab Goals & Normative Values: The goal here is to have symmetrical height side to side. We recommend setting up your phone to film yourself to see if you achieve similar height.
