HOW: Anchor a band in a low position. While standing, hold the band with the inside arm closest to the anchor. Your palm should be facing to the front. Pull the band up and across your body. As you’re pulling the band up, rotate your thumb and palm around and down. The end position should be your elbow slightly bent and arm next to your head.
FEEL: You should feel your shoulder blade muscles working.
COMPENSATION: Keep your upper trap muscles relaxed, don’t shrug your shoulders. Don’t twist your body, let your shoulder do all of the motion.
